ANZ Retired Officers' Club Victoria, they are made up of retirees and other alumni who have worked at ANZ over the years.

Their aim is to keep each other engaged and united, continuing the ANZ community ethos far beyond our employment. Embery is very proud to help them rebuild their new website, so people from ANZ Victoria can easily find each other.

1. How Embery contribute to ANZ’s new website

Embery is responsible for redesigning the website for ANZ including design and code. We build from the ground up from defining the customer's problem and need, to conceptualizing, designing, and coding. 10.jpg

2. The Context and Challenge

** Project background and description**

With simple and humane purposes, ANZ Retired Officers’s Club Victoria is founded and run by the retirees and other alumni of ANZ. They need a very easy-to-access website including clear sections and information. The budget for this website is not abundant, still our customers want to have such a qualified website for their club.

The problem

The biggest problem of ANZ is that they are using Webflow for their payment system, the information gathered is misleading and causes confusion for admin and users. For a retire club, it’s very important to manage the data so we have to fix this problem as a priority.

The goal

We need to rebuild their website to create a website that is easy to connect, easy to use and easy to manage data, but still shows the signature of ANZ.

3. The Process and Insight Research the customers’ insight - After receiving and defining all the demands of ANZ, we start to research the insight of the visitors. It’s a retired club, so most of the visitors are the elderly and also the former ANZ workers. They need something easy to catch up on and easy to read news.

Choose style & colors - We decide to follow the simple and clean style since we want it to be easy for the visitors to use the website and find the right information they want. We choose dark blue & white as the main colors to make the website look professional and more reliable.

How the logo change

Data Management - Without good data management, such environments can become unwieldy and hard to navigate. It’s also the biggest problem of ANZ so we decided to fix this problem as soon as possible.

Design sections and fill content We define the customers’ needs, and make a quick brief. Then, the design team joins and starts to design all the sections with the chosen colors and style. It's a very creative part of the project!

4. How Embery solve the problem

After the technical team discusses, we decide to add scripts and modify layout to enhance user experience. We also changed the notification email template to match ANZROC’s requirement. The users and admins had positive feedback with the site.
