**Project background and description**
The proprietor of Luigi’s Italian Restaurant, Lou Volpe, has spent his formative years in both Italy & Australia, as his family built a name for themselves in the hospitality industry. Team Lugi is committed to provide the most qualified and friendly service to locals and holiday makers alike.

The menu is amazing and they have such a great list of loyal customers. They came to us with the idea of improving the website to spread the reputation to the neighborhoods.They used to focus on the local customers, but now they want to open more.

**The problem**
The restaurant wants to change their branding. This is a wise first step for any business looking to expand because branding will be the deciding factor in how new customers will be impressed with you.

As a highly qualified restaurant, Lugi’s Italian Restaurant will need such stunning branding to stand out from others. We’ve already told you about “Why branding is so important to your business”, so this will be a practical case.

**The goal**
We focus on creating a perfect branding toolkit for the restaurant. Also, we aim to design a website that can deliver their core value with the speak of colors and details.
Hopefully, their customers can understand their message and choose them with trust.

We design a custom beautiful website with a booking widget, takeaways and dining menus. We create more options for customers to choose and more for them to refer. The restaurant customers have positive feedback with the website.

**4/ The Process and Insight**

**Access the current identity**
Making your brand visible, pertinent, and distinctive is the key to distinction and brand identity development. Therefore, it's essential to know not just who your competitors are but also how your brand stacks up in terms of visual presentation.

**Create the branding toolkit**
This is the most important part since it decides how the website and image of the restaurant are built. We designed a logo inspired by the colors of the Italian flag to convey the core value of the restaurant which is to serve authentic Italian dishes. The website background is designed with a darker color tone to highlight the logo and create a classic and luxurious feeling.

In general, the branding toolkit expresses warmth, thoughtfulness, with a hint of Italy.

**Design dine-in & take-away menus**
We designed 2 types of menus including: Dine-in & Take-away menus. These menus can satisfy the needs of many customers with different needs

**Create the booking widget**
At the same time, Embery also created an online reservation system, with automatic status. This system helps the restaurant to manage the table orders as best as possible, and at the same time creates convenience for customers when they can directly book a table through the website.

We created the booking widget with the hope that it can help restaurants increase the number of customers.

Lots of good feedback from customers showing their satisfaction with the food and service quality from the restaurant.
The website also looks more professional and luxurious.

For Sleeki Hair Studio, Embery is in charge of revamping the website, including the design and coding. We start by identifying the issue and requirement of the client before envisioning, creating, and coding the solution.

**Project background and description**

At Sleeki Hair Studio, they pride themselves on tailor to your hair needs that reflect your style and are easy to maintain. They have acquired many years of experience in hair knowledge and provide the highest quality service. They are dedicated to every hair and always continue to improve the craftsmanship with new products and techniques. 

**The problem**

They used Google Sites for their business, so it’s very slow and not professional. The target customers of any hair studio are the young generations who have such a style and modern orientation. So when the website is not professional enough to deliver their core message, it’s such a problem.

When your website is slow, the customer's experience is not good since they always tend to not stay for loading. It’s risky for any business.

**The goal**

With customers’ demand, we aim to build a professional and modern website which can catch users’ eyes and raise the conversion rate.

Embery developed for them a custom beautiful website with a special feature - a booking system which allows their customers to book the hair appointment in advance, and the admin can also manage the appointment and schedule them.  

**4. The Process and Insight**

**Build a signature branding toolkit**
A branding toolkit is something important to every business, especially with a hair studio. We decided to use two tones of black and white for a professional look, combined with the logo in text. The logo in text communicates the brand instantly to its customers. 

**Design the website**
It needs to be impressive at first sight, so we take time to research, come up with the ideas, and design. We tried our best to deliver the core value of Sleeki Hair Studio with many photos of hair style and testimonials. No longer Google sites, now the hair studio has their own custom website!

ANZ Retired Officers' Club Victoria, they are made up of retirees and other alumni who have worked at ANZ over the years.

Their aim is to keep each other engaged and united, continuing the ANZ community ethos far beyond our employment. Embery is very proud to help them rebuild their new website, so people from ANZ Victoria can easily find each other.

Embery is responsible for redesigning the website for ANZ including design and code. We build from the ground up from  defining the customer's problem and need, to conceptualizing, designing, and coding.

**2. The Context and Challenge**

** Project background and description**

With simple and humane purposes, ANZ Retired Officers’s Club Victoria is founded and run by the retirees and other alumni of ANZ. They need a very easy-to-access website including clear sections and information. The budget for this website is not abundant, still our customers want to have such a qualified website for their club. 

**The problem**

The biggest problem of ANZ is that they are using Webflow for their payment system, the information gathered is misleading and causes confusion for admin and users. For a retire club, it’s very important to manage the data so we have to fix this problem as a priority.

**The goal**

We need to rebuild their website to create a website that is easy to connect, easy to use and easy to manage data, but still shows the signature of ANZ.

**3. The Process and Insight**
**Research the customers’ insight** - After receiving and defining all the demands of ANZ, we start to research the insight of the visitors. It’s a retired club, so most of the visitors are the elderly and also the former ANZ workers. They need something easy to catch up on and easy to read news. 

**Choose style & colors** - We decide to follow the simple and clean style since we want it to be easy for the visitors to use the website and find the right information they want. We choose dark blue & white as the main colors to make the website look professional and more reliable.

**Data Management** - Without good data management, such environments can become unwieldy and hard to navigate. It’s also the biggest problem of ANZ so we decided to fix this problem as soon as possible.

**Design sections and fill content**
We define the customers’ needs, and make a quick brief. Then, the design team joins and starts to design all the sections with the chosen colors and style. It's a very creative part of the project!

**4. How Embery solve the problem**

After the technical team discusses, we decide to add scripts and modify layout to enhance user experience. 
We also changed the notification email template to match ANZROC’s requirement. The users and admins had positive feedback with the site.
